It was a no-brainer from the start. Main Street Museum? Love. Grotesque? Yum. Burlesque? Yes, please. All three together in one event? HELL YES!
S. R. Wild booked us a room at the White River Junction Econolodge. Why there? Well, they have a nice, warm pool.

After a day of driving, sauntering around WRJ, food, and swimming we got ready to head out to the show. Sock garters, cuff links, and a three piece suit for him, fancy underthings and cocktail attire for me.The door was being worked by these friendly, partially clothed slaves:
And a table brimming with nibbles awaited us.
Even the MSM buck was dressed up in his fur stole.
After a bit of schmoozing and listening to smutty Victrola records, the show began!
Our delicious hostesses, Sloppy Jo and Slow Lee:
The first musical act, So Sol took the stage. I wish I could have taken more video - they were so good! - but my little camera only has so much memory. I had to be judicious.
The dirty, dirty stylings of Pink and Harry:
A tap dancing starfish
Sloppy Jo had a very special assistant, a blind pigeon!
Our hostesses grew increasingly undressed as the evening went on...
There was SO much more that I'm not able to include here. Peelers, audience participation, a very acrobatic pole dancer, ukulele jams, music, music, and more music. You all must, must, must check out this show next time it appears!
