I have a confession. I have broken one of my own rules of internet sanity... I've been arguing with trolls on internet forums.
Why? Because I've continued following the Nick Garza case, and have made the daft error of letting my eyes stray from the Burlington Free Press articles over to the 'comments'. Ugh. I became so annoyed by these know-it-all jackasses complaining about how the search for Nick is a waste of taxpayer money and reiterating/reinforcing the popular misconception that Nick was drunk the night he disappeared. Soooo I registered for a BFP account and tussled with the chief offender.
Can you guess what it accomplished? That's right, absolutely nothing. I should have known better when I saw that this person has averaged over 13 posts per day since registering last November.

Anyway, there are still no leads in this case - still no physical evidence, no suspects, nothing. It's upsetting... I really wish I could help.
If you live in the area (or even if you don't, I suppose) would you please consider taking a few minutes to email our local media outlets to keep interest in Nick's story piqued?

Oh Molly, thanks for trying to fight the good fight. Those trolls make me ill - it is hard to even stomach their comments.
i and apparently a number of other people see that particular person is a fucking moron.
this poor kid- he looks sweet and cute and funny- if my taxpayer money is going to something, i want it to be to finding him and what ever the story of his disappearance is.
I don't know if this is true, but Nick strikes me as a teeny bit cocky, too, you know? But in a totally lovable way - lovable intelligent smart ass (like many of our friends). :)
Probably just projecting fictional qualities. I don't know.
Sounds right on to me. The world needs more lovable intelligent smart asses. Can never have enough.
